Individual Coaching

Anyone motivated and committed to awakening change® can benefit from working with a coach. After all, how often do you get to talk about you, and only you, with someone who listens without judgement while maintaining confidentiality? Coaching means different things to different people, but in its purest form, coaching gives you the space to reflect on what kind of person and leader you want to be. Few individuals can reach or stay at the top of their game without support, time for candid reflection and continual learning & development

All of our work can be done virtually, in person, or a blend.

Coaching impacts you by offering:

  • The chance for you to focus on being a better you – a better leader, and a better human

  • Individual, tailored and personal development on the goals important to you and your organization

  • Change that sticks, because it was desired by you, designed by you, and implemented in a way that works for you

Every coaching relationship is different, but all rely on the relationship and the fit between coach and client. Coaching isn’t a step by step process. Because you’re human, we don’t follow a checklist. That said, we’ll be following a proven methodology from the Hudson Institute of Coaching, often referred to as the Harvard of coach training organizations, to help you move through the change process in a way that works for you.

Hudson Institute Coaching Methodology

The individual coaching process differs from team coaching, as we work with you, your manager and HR representative (if applicable) to create your plan and measureable goals. We’ll meet with key stakeholders to seek out important feedback and perspectives on your progress. Typically, we will work together anywhere from 3 - 12 months depending on you and your goals. That can be through weekly or bi-weekly meetings, as we customize our work to meet your needs and goals. We can work in person, or via phone or Skype.

You and your goals are unique, because you are the only you.

here are some of my coaching successes:

  • change leaders challenged by resistance or by the need to persevere the marathon of change

  • emerging leaders in new management roles or phases in their own leadership journey

  • leaders of all levels who want to change the rhythm of their lives and work

  • perfectionists learning to be on their side instead of their back

  • women leaders learning to be both feminine and strong

  • millennials learning to lead authentically, from their own values and style, rather than by-the-book “old school” leadership

  • managers afraid to delegate and let their team members do – sometimes because they don’t want them to fall or fail

  • baby-boomers and gen-x’ers trying to influence, inspire and develop, rather than command and control

  • executives seeking to define their next chapter, in and beyond where they are today

  • leaders looking to work internationally or being challenged by working with people in other cultures

  • anyone feeling uninspired, tired and looking to find their passion and calling

We cannot teach people anything;
we can only help them discover it within themselves.
