People & Performance Conversations (PPC): Generating Desired Impact™

Creating leadership capability is a critical challenge, regardless of industry. Leaders need to be able to lead the people in organizations strategically to deliver on their promises, and while the outcomes may be different according to industry or role, the underlying skills are the same. 

This program focuses on having the skills and confidence to have the right type of conversation at the right time with all the people they count on and interact with. We build the capability to have authentic and effective conversations in a psychologically safe way while generating the desired performance impact and development of their team members.

At all levels of leadership, we’re not as good at these conversations as we’d like to be, or even think we are. 

Target audience:

All levels of leadership. Whether you are trying to create a culture change, or enhance an already rich culture where you need to grow capacity, all leaders need to be effective, and therefore, involved. 

What makes PPC stand out from other training programs?

PPC isn’t “just” a training program that offers knowledge and teaches basic skills. It is a scaled group coaching cohort, where participants receive individualized, customized coaching from an experienced executive coach (and their peers) on their own strengths, opportunities, and real life situations. And the peers support each other’s learning and growth. 

  • Focused on creating authentic leaders and relationships – relationships generate results and conversations create the quality of those relationships. We coach leaders to show up authentically and create space for their team to develop. We support leaders in speaking with clarity from their hearts, as real humans, so they can authentically connect and generate true change in and impact with others. 

  • Designed for real life situations and practice – reading about, knowing about, or having a model for leadership doesn’t make you a leader - it comes through practice. Great conversations happen through connection, deep listening, presence, asking impactful questions and providing appropriate care for your people. 

  • Designed ground up for virtual delivery – time constraints, globally dispersed teams, nor diversity of people in your organization should be barriers nor excuses to quality leadership training. The time we create between sessions provides an opportunity to try on new ways of being and leading. Dynamic interactions and time intervals between sessions speed learning integration, skill application and reinforcement through more supported practice. 

  • Semi-customizable for your company culture– we have the potential to integrate your company language, your values, your leader competencies into the program language and delivery. 

Program objectives:

This leadership training program will help you develop exceptional people leaders who deliver business and, thus, customer impact through their conversations. 

We build your leadership capability by helping you: 

  • lead the right type of conversations with agility

  • create trusted relationships (psychological safety) which allow you to clarify development and performance expectations

  • improve performance impact by providing clear direct feedback, generating results by coordinating actions, and appropriately expressing appreciation while also challenging the status quo

  • support team members in an environment of accountability so they deliver on promises and commit to development goals.

Program Structure:

Program delivery cohorts are typically in the range of 16 to 24 participants. Highly engaging practice breakout groups comprise 75% or more of each 2 hour session supported by a 4:1 participant to executive coach ratio.  The program is delivered via Zoom.
